The Misericordia women's swimming team grabbed their first win of the 2009 season by defeating Messiah 131-67 on Friday night.

Jessica Grant won the 500 and 1000 free, one of an impressive seven different Cougars to win individual events.

Other winners for MU included Chelsea Mixon (200 free), Alicia Bryk (50 free), Chrissy Condus (200 IM), Michelle Lacroce (100 fly), Abby Kocon (100 free) and Megan McChesney (100 back).

The Cougars are now 1-2 on the season and face Post at home tomorrow afternoon.
