The defending MAC champion Misericordia women's swim team improved to 3-0 in conference competition this season with a 107-60 victory over King's, Tuesday night in the Anderson Center.

Juniors Danni Basile and Crissy Condus were each double-winners for the Cougars. Basile finished first in the 50 freestyle (27.46) and the 100 breaststroke (1:16.50), while Condus also won at two different disciplines- the 200 free (2:07.86) and 100 backstroke (1:09.97).

Other MU winners included Chelsea Mixon in the 200 IM, Brianna Hiltey in the 100 butterfly, and Alicia Bryk in the 100 free.

King's was led by junior Maggie Nealer, who was so quick in the 1000 free (11:45.40) that she would have finished first in the men's race as well. Nealer showed off her versatility by also placing in the 100 breast (1:23.65).

The Cougars are now 4-3 overall and will compete in the Longnecker Invitational this weekend, their final meet before Christmas break.
