Misericordia's five graduating seniors combined for 64.5 points as the men's swimming team defeated Messiah 119-64, Friday in the Cougars' home finale.

Nick Cannizzaro,
Brendan Dougherty and
Mike Labagh were honored during the meet and all contributed to the MU victory.
Clark achieved yet another record, with his 2:10.36 in the 200 breast equaling a pool mark. He was also a part of the winning 200 medley relay.
Vossler won the 50 free and the 100 free. Cannizzaro (500 free) and Dougherty (200 IM) also won events in their final home meet. Labagh was fourth in the 100 breast.
The Cougars got off to a fast start by sweeping the opening 200 medley relay.
Matthew Essington (1000 free- 11:17.34),
Matt Moates (100 butterfly- 56.57) and
Adam Grzech (100 back- 56.68) were individual winners for Misericordia.
Despite a tough regular season schedule, MU finishes with a winning record at 6-5. The Cougars were also 4-1 against MAC competition. Misericordia is back in action at the MAC championship meet, February 11-13 in Wilkes-Barre.
