The Misericordia University women's swim team cruised by Lebanon Valley, 136-99, Tuesday night at the Anderson Center.
MU women won 11 of the 14 events, coming in the top three spots five times.
The 200 medley relay gave the Cougars a big lead, and they didn't look back. The team of
Bree Grzech,
Amanda Stammherr,
Brittany Luzik and
Kiana Ramirez took an early lead and didn't look back, finishing in a time of 1:55.07.
Senior Jess Grant and sophomore
Beth Karmondy were both double-winners for MU. Grant won the 1000 free (11:43.81) and the 500 free (5:43.59) while Karmondy won the 100 breast (1:12.76) and the 200 breast (2:37.76).
Grzech won the 50 free (25:87) and Ramirez won the 100 back (1:06.80). Senior
Chelsea Mixon won the 100 free (56.44) and freshman
Dana Hallam earned a victory in the 200 IM (2:26.06).
The team of Grzech, Luzik,
Aryn Zimmerman and Mixon finished the meet when they won the 200 free relay in a time of 1:43.46.
MU will swim again against Albright where they will honor the seniors on Senior Appreciation Day, Saturday.
