The Misericordia University women's swim team finished the regular season with a record breaking victory over MAC opponent Messiah, Friday evening.

The Cougars finished the regular season with a record of 8-3 after a victory over Messiah, 191- 85.

Brittany Luzik bettered her own school record when she took top honors in the 100 fly (1:00.28).

Chelsea Mixon won the 100 free (55.82) while helping the team of Bree Grzech, Luzik and Amanda Stammherr win the 400 medley relay in a time of 4:09.48.  Grzech also won the 50 free in a time of 25.87.

The Cougars will be in action again when they try to capture the MAC Championship, February 10.
