Bree Grzech and
Brittany Luzik each earned a pair of individual victories to go with a pair of relay wins, but it wasn't enough as the Misericordia University women's swimming team fell to Scranton, 139-123, Saturday afternoon at the Anderson Center Pool.
Grzech earned individual wins in the 200 backstroke (2:17.68) and the 50 freestyle (26.05) while Luzik swept the 100 (1:02.02) and 200 (2:20.95) butterfly events. The duo also combined with freshmen
Dani Blass and Katherine Strohosky for victories in the 400 medley relay (4:15.71) and the 200 freestyle medley (1:44.38).
Blass also won the 200 freestyle (2:04.21) while junior
Amanda Stammherr earned the victory in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.72).
MU will host Messiah on Friday evening at 6:00 PM in their final regular season meet. Prior to the meet, the Cougars will honor their lone senior,
