Four different players scored goals as the Misericordia University women's soccer team remained unbeaten in MAC Freedom play with a 4-1 win at FDU-Florham, Saturday.
Alex Gallagher had a goal and an assist and
Hannah Larkin,
Alexa Alchevsky and
Rileigh Jo Evitts all added goals as the Cougars improved to 14-2-1 and 6-0 in the MAC Freedom.
The Cougars took a 3-0 lead just 14 minutes into the match.
Gallagher scored unassisted from 15 yards at 3:35 and Larkin made it 2-0 with assists from Gallagher and
Kristen Ritter just four minutes later.
Alchevsky finished off a corner from
Alyssa Manno to make it 3-0.
Evitts finished a through ball from
Jordyn Powell with 15 minutes remaining.
FDU scored its lone goal with under three minutes to play.
MU will travel to Ithaca, Wednesday and will host DeSales in the MAC Freedom finale, Saturday.
