Jacqueline Stevens scored a pair of goals to lead the Misericordia University women's soccer team to a 3-1 win at Wilkes, Saturday.
Ashley Edgell added a goal and
Kylen Smith and
Emily Szeflinski had assists as the Cougars improved to 11-3 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Freedom.
Edgell gave the Cougars an early lead off a feed from Smith in the fourth minute.
Stevens made it 2-0 with an unassisted goal in the 19
th minute.
Stevens added an insurance goal less than two minutes into the second half and Wilkes netted its lone goal at 52:00.
Misericordia put 11 of its 18 shots on goal while allowing just seven shots, including four on goal.
Alyssa Pojero made three saves in goal for MU.
The Cougars will visit DeSales, Tuesday afternoon.
