Kaitlyn Weatherby won three events to lead the Misericordia University women's swim team to a sweep of a tri-meet with Lycoming, 181.5-79.5, and Hood, 182.5-58.5, Saturday afternoon in the Anderson Center.

Weatherby won the 100 free (56.82), 200 free (2:04.37) and 400 IM (5:08.68) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:56.44).

Maggie Yount, Sierra Schertler, Taylor Lane, Rileigh Ellis, Grace Nikolski and Clare Winton all added individual wins for the Cougars.

Gina Smith, Nikolski and Schertler joined Weatherby on the 200 medley relay while Elizabeth Wooster, Alexandra Swan, Nikolski and Schertler won the 400 free relay (3:59.53).

Yount won the 200 fly (2:33.67) while Schertler won the 50 free (26.19).

Lane took the 200 back (2:20.12) and Ellis won the 500 free (5:32.02) while Nikolski and Winton won the 100 fly (1:03.12) and 1000 free (11:56.15), respectively.

The Cougars are 3-3 and will compete in the Diamond City Invitational at the Wilkes-Barre CYC next weekend.
