The Misericordia University men's swim team dropped its season opener to Arcadia, 156.5-104.5, Saturday afternoon at the Anderson Center.
 
Logan Fluegel won twice and Ricky Averill and D.J. Weiland added wins for the Cougars.
 
Fluegel won the 100 back (54.65) and the 100 fly (54.97) while Averill won the 200 breaststroke (2:14.13) and Weiland won the 500 free (5:10.90).
 
Averill, Danny Chlebove, Fluegel and Aidan Bergan teamed to win the 400 free relay (3:20.95).
