The Misericordia University women's swim team fell to Messiah and Albright in a double-dual meet at Messiah, Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars fell to the Falcons, 185-62, and to Albright, 157-75.

Veronica Venit finished second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:05.07.

Rileigh Ellis was second in the 500 free with a time of 5:33.22.

Kaitlyn Weatherby was third in the 100 fly (1:04.36) and the 200 fly (2:23.00).

Sierra Schertler and Alexandra Swan finished second and fifth, respectively, in the 50 free with times of 26.01 and 27.54.

Misericordia will be back in action on February 15 at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships.
