The Misericordia University women's swim team opened its first season under head coach
Alexander Taylor with a sweep over East Stroudsburg and Kutztown, Saturday in the Anderson Center.
The Cougars beat Kutztown, 128.5-77.5, and beat East Stroudsburg, 130-72.
Grace Nikolski,
Kaitlyn Weatherby and
Camryn Hubric were all triple-winners for the Cougars.
Nikolski won the 100 breaststroke (1:10.07) and 200 IM (2:20.55) and teamed with
Andrea Carlson, Weatherby and Hubric to win the 200 medley relay (1:53.93).
Hubric won the 50 free (25.12) and 100 back (1:03.62) while Weatherby won the 100 fly (1:02.33) and joined
Sierra Schertler,
Kate Bernauer and Mary T Nikolski to win the 200 free relay (1:43.5).
