The Misericordia University field hockey team fell to King's, 1-0 in overtime, Saturday at McGeehan Field.
Despite holding a 12-9 shot advantage over the Monarchs, Misericordia couldn't find the back of the cage.
King's tallied the game-winner 4:05 into the extra session.
Madisyn Granoski led MU with five shots, including three on goal while Rebecca Kaschak added two of her own.
Granoski nearly gave the Cougars the lead when she ripped a shot off a penalty corner in the third quarter, but attempt ended up wide left.
Kaschak also had a good look from five yards out, but was denied by a diving stop by the Monarchs' goalie with less than a minute to play in the third period.
Jenna Whitman made a great play on a Monarchs' shot to stop the ball just before it crossed the goal line to preserve the tie in the fourth quarter.
Katelyn Campbell had three saves for Misericordia.
The Cougars will head to Juniata, Wednesday at 7 p.m.
