The Misericordia University women's soccer team will travel to Stevens for the 2019 MAC Freedom championship game, Saturday at noon.

The Cougars are 11-5-2 and advanced to their eighth MAC Freedom final in nine seasons with a 4-0 win over DeSales.

Stevens is in their first season in the MAC Freedom. The Ducks have won 12 straight matches to improve to 14-3-1.

Stevens edged Misericordia, 1-0, during the regular season.

Misericordia has won three straight MAC Freedom titles and is making its fourth consecutive appearance in the championship match.

Devyn Anderson scored twice in MU's semifinal win to tie for the team scoring lead with six goals and an assist.Â

Misericordia is led by six All-MAC Freedom performers, including first-team selections,
Jordyn Martini,
Michaela Fasolino,
Kaylee Sturans and
Alexis Benedetto.

Martini, a senior forward, tied for the second on the team in scoring with four goals and four assists.Â
Fasolino, a sophomore midfielder, has four goals and two assists.
Sturans, a sophomore back, tied for fourth in the MAC Freedom with six assists while anchoring a defense that allowed just 10.6 shots per game and 0.89 goals per game.
Benedetto, a junior goalkeeper, led the league with six shutouts and was second with a 0.87 goals against average.

Ally Waite both made second-team All-MAC Freedom.

Pearage, a sophomore forward, tied for the team lead with six goals and one assist.
Waite, a first-year midfielder, had a goal and an assist.

Stevens had eight All-MAC Freedom selections, including first-teamers Gabby Saade, Ally Wanzor, Julia Panko and Gianna Nitti.
