The Misericordia University men's volleyball team dropped a tough 3-2 decision at Elmira as the Soaring Eagles rallied from a 2-0 deficit.
The Cougars won 25-18, 28-26 to take the lead, but Elmira won 25-20, 27-25, 15-12 to complete the comeback.
Ryan Miller led the Cougars with 18 kills while
Matt Lavin and
Billy Murphy had 14 each.
Dylan Sellitti had 50 assists and three blocks and
Austin Cervasio had eight blocks.
Conner Westerfield had 16 digs and Miller added 10 digs and four blocks.
Brian Ross had 13 digs.
The Cougars will travel to Marymount for a tri-match with Rutgers-Newark, Saturday.
