The Misericordia University men's swim team is in second place after the first session of the Cougars Splash Invitational, Friday at Dallas Middle School.

The Cougars have 187 points and trail York by 24 points.

Jonus Gurski set a pool record (1:56.01) in the 200 IM while Ben Sorrentino, Sheldon Kohl and Regin Olson-Gray were third through fifth, respectively.

Jason Winters finished second in the 500 free and Chris Farrell was third in the 50 free.  Nate Shappell and Logan Kuhar was seventh in the 50 free.

Farrell, Shappell, Kohl and Kuhar finished second in the 200 free relay while Kuhar, Gurski, Winters and Shappell were second in the 400 medley relay.
