The Misericordia University women's track & field team won 12 events to claim the team title at the Misericordia Twilight Meet, Friday at the Anderson Athletics Complex.

The Cougars recorded 300 points to top the eight-team field.

Taylor Van Tassell (19:55.44) led a 1-2-3 finish with Kate Jones and Sophia Adams in the 5000m and Brenna Karnish won the hammer (43.7m) and shot put (12.77m).

Sarah Salus won the javelin (38.95m) and Hayley Engle took the high jump (1.5m).

Sonialys Badillo won the 100m (12.99) and 400m hurdles (1:11.71) and teamed with Hailey Colabelli, Amber Hackenberg and Jill Olewine to win the 4x100 (52.88).

Colabelli added a win at 400m (1:01.56) and joined Kristin Gallagher, Averi Rine and Hackenberg to win the 4x400 (4:17.5).

Rine won at 800m (2:28.12) and Olivia Visaggio won the 10,000m (38:41.74).
