The Misericordia University softball team ended the regular season with a 1-0 win over Messiah, Sunday at Anderson Field.
Alexa McHugh struck out 11 to earn the win and helped her own cause with two hits and the game's only run.
Zariah Alvin had an RBI-double and
Miranda Bohn added a double.
McHugh singled to lead off the third inning and came all the around to score on Alvin's two-out double.
Misericordia is 19-4 and is the top seed in the MAC Freedom Championships. The Cougars will host Delaware Valley in the first round, Saturday at Anderson Field.
