The Misericordia University men's golf team opened the season with a split of a tri-match with Scranton and King's, Tuesday at Irem Country Club.
 
Colin Bowanko led the Cougars and finished sixth overall with an 80 while Jack Hopkins shot 88.
 
Scranton's Ethan Zawatski earned medalist honors with an even-par 72 while teammates Stephen Butler and Calvin Ralph both shot 84.
 
Tyler Faux led King's with an 83.
 
Scranton finished first at 295 while Misericordia was second with 357 and King's was third at 397.
