The Misericordia University swim teams captured all but one event in a sweep over Marywood, Friday night at the Anderson Center.
Jonus Gurski broke his own pool record in the 400 IM (4:18.64) to lead the men's team to a 162-27 win. Gurski added a win in the 100 breaststroke and was part of the 200 medley relay team with
Sheldon Kohl, Ben Sorrentino and Nate Shappell.
Shappell won the 100 free and joined Farrell,
Logan Kuhar and
Sheldon Kohl to win the 200 free relay.
Jason Winters won the 500 free and 1000 free and Farrell won the 200 free. Sorrentino won the 100 fly while
Josh Zawatski won the 50 free and Kuhar won the 100 back
The Misericordia women took all but one event in a 160-36 win.
Lilly Bernard won the 100 back and 1000 free while
Jennifer Scott won the 50 free and 100 fly.
Analiese Hargreaves won the 400 IM and
Kate Bernauer won the 100 free. Maddie Grosentstein won the 500 free and
Cassidy Preste took the 100 breaststroke.
Scott, Preste, Bella Buchman and Bernauer won the 200 medley relay and Bernauer, Brenna Fluhr, Buchman and Preste won the 200 free relay.
Marywood's Samantha Peck won the 200 free.
Misericordia will host Wilkes, Saturday at 1:00.
