The Misericordia University men's and women's cross country teams are both ranked seventh in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll.

The MU women's team is ranked seventh for the second consecutive week after an eighth place finish at the Rowan Inter-Region Border Battle. 

The men's team moved up two spots after finishing 16^th at Rowan. 

The MU women's team is the top-ranked MAC team in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  The Cougars are the defending MAC champion and will be among the favorites to win the team title at the 2022 MAC Championships next weekend at Lebanon Valley.

Alexa Thompson, Bri Wagner and Sarah DeVries earned All-MAC status a year ago.

The MU men's team will be looking to improve on last year's fifth-place finish at the MAC Championships.

Stephen Kober is the defending MAC runner-up while Tavian McKenna and Stephen Rowley both earned All-MAC status.
