Matthieu Brunelle finished third in the long jump to lead the Misericordia University men's indoor track & field team on the opening day of the MAC Championships, Friday at Alvernia.

Matthew Maransky followed Brunelle in seventh place.

The Cougars are seventh of 13 teams.
