Lukas Schubert-Brown won the javelin to lead the Misericordia University men's track & field team at the MAC Championships, Saturday at DeSales.

Schubert-Brown won the MAC title with a toss of 52.71m while teammate Zackery Evans finished seventh.

Matthieu Brunelle (13.58m) was fourth in the triple jump and Matt Maransky (4.15m) was fourth in the pole vault.

Maransky was named the MAC Rookie of the Year.

The Cougars finished eighth in the team standings.
