The Misericordia University field hockey team suffered its first loss of the season, 3-0, Wednesday night at Ithaca.

Sarah Bogina made five saves in goal for the Cougars.

After neither team managed a shot in the first period, Ithaca scored on its first shot of the game early in the second quarter.

The Bombers added goals in each of the final two periods.

The Cougars will host Cortland, Friday evening.
