The #21 Misericordia University women's soccer team turned in another dominating performance as the Cougars earned their fourth straight shutout with an 8-0 win over Delaware Valley, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.

Emma Sweitzer and
Julia Beck scored two goals each and
Olivia Maniskas,
Colleen Kinsella,
Maegan Allspach and
Sarah Kowalski all added goals.

Maniskas opened the scoring with a blast from 35 yards that hit the bottom of the crossbar at 3:55.Â

After two near-misses by Allspach, Sweitzer made it 2-0 with a goal from the left flank at 8:48.

Beck stuffed a shot from close-range on a loose ball off a corner for a 3-0 lead at 12:38.

Kinsella fed a pass to Sweitzer at the top of box where she turned and slotted a shot past the keeper at 23:09.

Beck played a lofted ball from the left wing that found the right side netting to give MU a 3-0 lead just over a minute later.

Kinsella and Allspach scored just 13 seconds apart in the 32
nd minute to stretch the lead to 7-0.

Kowalski closed out the scoring in the 88
th minute.

The Cougars defense was suffocating throughout the afternoon as they held the Aggies to just two shots on goal.
