The Misericordia University men's volleyball team bounced back from an opening set loss to defeat St. Elizabeth University, 3-1, Wednesday.

The Cougars took the final three sets, 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.

Logan Romeika led the Cougars with 16 kills and
Jackson Fehnel added 15.

Austin Hand had 11 kills, three aces and two blocks and
Gannon DeFrain had 37 assists and 15 digs.

Trailing 24-19 in the opener, Fehnel had a kill and Hand add an ace as part of a 4-0 run to get within a point, 24-23, but the Eagles held on to win, 25-23.

Hand had two kills and Fehnel added one kill as part of a 4-0 run to give Misericordia a 19-14 lead in the second set.

Three Eagles errors gave Misericordia a 24-16 lead and Romeika closed out the set with a kill.

Down 9-7 in the third set, Hand and
Zane Martin had two kills each as the Cougars took a 12-9 lead.

Hand and Fehnel had late kills to help the Cougars close out a 25-22 win.

The Cougars used a 7-1 run to take an 11-4 lead in the finale.

Fehnel had two kills and Hand added an ace as part of the run and the Cougars went on to win, 25-19.
