The Ithaca College field hockey team scored four unanswered goals in the second half in a 4-2 come-from-behind over Misericordia University, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Lily Metress scored two goals late in the first half to give the Cougars a 2-0 halftime lead.
Olivia Kempf and
Morgan Walsh had assists for MU.
Sarah Bogina made 11 saves in goal for the Cougars.
Kempf took a shot just inside the top of the circle and Metress tipped it near the left post to give MU a 1-0 with 2:38 left in the first half.
The Cougars earned four straight corners in the closing seconds of the first half, including one with no time remaining when Metress tapped a pass from Walsh into the right corner of the cage.
MU nearly made it 3-0 early in the third period, but
Meghan Radnoff's reverse-stick shot was just wide of the left post.
Ithaca scored on a pair of corners midway through the third quarter to pull even. The Bombers went ahead with just over six minutes remaining and added an insurance goal with less than two minutes to play.
