Two of the top Division III women's soccer teams in the country will meet when #5 Misericordia University hosts #2 Case Western Reserve at Mangelsdorf Field, Friday, September 8 at 7:00.

Both teams enter their first-ever meeting with 2-0 records.

Misericordia was 21-1-1 a year ago and lost to eventual national champion Johns Hopkins in the Elite 8 round of the NCAA Tournament.

Case Western was 20-1-1 and lost to Johns Hopkins in the national title game.

Misericordia is led by Emma Sweitzer, the 2022 United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Year.  She has two goals on the season and is MU's all-time leading scorer with 126 career points.

CWRU is led by senior goalkeeper Maggie Storti, a first-team University Athletics Association selection a year ago.  She was a third-team USC all-region selection.
