The Misericordia University women's swim team swept a quad-meet with Wilkes and St. Mary's (MD) at Marywood as they opened second-semester action, Saturday.
The Cougars beat Wilkes, 220-25, St. Mary's, 199-60, and Marywood, 217-31.
Misericordia was led by four double-winners asÂ
Tamsin Formon won the 500/1000 free,
Cali White won the 100/200 free,
Kaylee DePietro won the 100/200 back and
Lindsey Rice won the 100/200 breaststroke.
Jennifer Scott added a win the 50 free.
DePietro, Rice, Scott and White won the 400 medley relay as the Cougars took three of the of the top four spots. White,
Lilly Bernard, Scott and Formon won the 400 free relay.
Formon dropped 15 seconds off her 1,000 free time to set a new school record at 10:55.75 and teamed with
Madison Grosenstein and
Taegan Williams to finish 1-2-3.
Forman, Grosenstein and Bernard went 1-2-3 in the 500 free.
White (2:01.03), Bernard,
Jenna Flynn and Gabby Velazquez took the top four spots in the 200 free and White (55.7), Flynn and Williams went 1-2-3 in the 100 free.
DePietro (1:03.88),
Kaitlyn Stollenwerk and
Breanna Fluhr were 1-2-3 in the 100 back and DePietro (2:21.38), Stollenwerk, Fluhr and
Caroline Kovacs swept the top four spots in the 200 back.
Rice (1:09.63/2:34.95) and
Morgan Stover finished 1-2 in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes.
Scott (26.09) and Maddie Cunningham were 1-2 in the 50 free.
