The Misericordia University men's track & field team is in third place after the opening day of the MAC Indoor Championships at the PLEX in Reading, PA.

Matthieu Brunelle (6.8m) finished second in the long jump while Jacob Hunter was eighth.

Stephen Rowley (15:13.18) was third at 5000m and the team of Dylan Blackwell, Richard Billings, Nae'qwon Morris and Hunter were third in the 4x200 (1:32.10).

Stephen Gihr finished eighth in the weight throw and Trey Rhinehart, Nathan Horn, Tavian McKenna and Thomas Bricker were sixth in the distance medley relay.

Owen McGuffey finished fourth in the 60m hurdles prelims and Billings was fifth in the 60m prelims.
