The Misericordia University women's track & field team is in fourth place after the opening day of the MAC championships, Friday at the PLEX in Reading.

Grace Morningstar, Casey Allen, Kristin Gallagher and Madison Kammer won the distance medley relay (12:36.44).

Grace Gallagher was second at 5000m (18:00.9) and Katherine Jones was eighth.

Gabby Bellomo (14.6m) finished third in the weight throw.
