The Misericordia University women's track & field team is in second place after first day of the MAC Championships, Thursday at Widener.

Grace Gallagher (38:17.29) finished second at 10,000m while Katherine Jones was seventh.

Madison Kammer, Kristin Gallagher, Brianna Wagner and Grace Morningstar won the 4x800m relay (9:19.44).

The Cougars have 20 points and trail King's (23) in the 12-team field.
