The Misericordia University men's golf team opened the season with a 326-349 win over Marywood to give head coach Chris Mathews his first career win, Wednesday at Stonehedge Golf Club.
 
Brett Herman tied for medalist honors with a 75 and Silas Morrison was third with a 78.
 
Brian Hough added an 85.
