The Misericordia University men's volleyball team held off a late charge at Lancaster Bible to pull out a 3-2 win.

The Cougars took the first two sets, but the Chargers rallied to win the next two sets.

MU led the fifth set, 14-10, and the hosts rallied to pull even, 14-14.

Anthony DePalma's kill gave MU the lead and a Lancaster Bible attack error clinched the win for MU.

DePalma and
Jared Piontkowski led the Cougars with 17 kills each and DePalma added four aces and 11 digs.

Piontkowski had a team-high six blocks and
Benjamin Clendening had four blocks.
Gannon DeFrain had 44 assists.

DePalma had two kills as the Cougars opened the first set with a 7-0 run on the way to a 25-20 win.

MU trailed 21-20 in the second set, but scored four straight points to take a 24-21 lead. A Lancaster Bible service error provided the winning point in MU's 25-22 win.

The Chargers took the next two sets, including a come-from-behind 27-25 win to force the fifth set.
