The second honoree in the Misericordia Top 100 Student-Athletes of the Century countdown is #99 Michael Anderson.

He was a four-year letterman in football as an offensive lineman and earned first-team All-MAC honors in each of his three full seasons.

In his first season, he paved the way for a rushing attack that finished second in the MAC with 157.8 yards per game and 19 touchdowns.  He earned first-team All-MAC and All-ECAC while helping the Cougars make their second postseason berth.

He was first-team All-MAC in 2021 after grading at 95% for the season while not allowing a sack.

He started all nine games and paved the way for three different individuals to rush for more than 100 yards in a game.

After missing the 2022 season due to injury, he returned to earn first-team All-MAC status in 2023 while not allowing a sack.

Anderson was also a member of the track & field team and was the 2021 MAC runner-up in the shot put.  He holds the school record in the shot put (46'7-1/2").
