The eighth honoree in the Misericordia Top 100 Student-Athletes of the Century countdown is #93 Jeff Puckett.

He was a four-year starter at quarterback in the first four seasons of football at Misericordia.

Puckett was a four-time team MVP and was named first-team All-MAC as a senior after leading the MAC with 22 total touchdowns. He was third in the league with 974 rushing yards and 2,419 yards of total offense.

He was the Misericordia Wendy's Athlete of the Year as a senior.

He ran for over 1,000 yards as a sophomore and junior and had seven games of 100-plus rushing yards as a junior.

As a sophomore, he the led the MAC in rushing and finished 10^th in the nation with 19 rushing touchdowns.  He ran for 301 yards in the season opener, the sixth-highest single-game total in MAC history.

Puckett scored a MAC record six touchdowns in the season finale win over FDU-Florham as a sophomore.
