Trey Rhinehart ran the second-fastest time in school history to lead the Misericordia University men's cross country team to a third-place finish at the Houghton (NY) Highlander Invitational, Saturday.
Rhinehart (24:51) was just one second off
Stephen Rowley's school record to finish third overall in the 213-runner field.
Ryan Weber (25:12) ran the sixth-fastest time in school history to finish eighth and
Ryan Shulman was 17
th.
Thomas Bricker finished 25
th and
Daniel O'Keefe was 40
th to round out MU's top five.
The Cougars had 77 points to finish behind RIT and Lock Haven in the 16-team field.
