Misericordia University football standout Gavin Morris has been named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Morris recorded a team-high 13 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and a half-sack, to lead Misericordia to a 29-28 win at Stevenson and preserve the Cougars' unbeaten MAC record.
