Misericordia University's Madison Hedglin was named MAC Runner of the Year and Rookie of the Year after winning the MAC cross country championship, Saturday at Delaware Valley.

The Cougars finished second in the team standings, falling to Lebanon Valley, 52-55, in the 14-team field.

Hedglin led from wire-to-wire to top the 137-runner field by nearly 30 seconds in 22:26 to lead seven MU All-MAC performers.

Madison Kammer was fifth to earn first-team All-MAC honors while Grace Gallagher (15^th), Cassandra Burt (16^th) and Rachel Ulrich (18^th) were all second-team All-MAC.

Grace Morningstar (24^th) and Kayla Beebe (30^th) were third team All-MAC.
