Gannon Schwalm led the Misericordia University men's swim team in the opening session of the Cougar Splash, Friday evening at Dallas Middle School.

Schwalm (1:55.81) dropped seven seconds to win the 200 IM while Jacob Rose finished sixth.

Michael Cooper (22.75) and Chase McCray were 11^th and 12^th, respectively, in the 50 free.

Max Dung (5:08.4) finished 12^th in the 500 free.

The Cougars are fourth of six teams and will return to action Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
