11/8/2025 10:04:00 PM

The Misericordia University men's swim team lost at Scranton, 185-76, in its first loss of the season, Saturday.

Jacob Rose won the 50 free (22.31) and 100 fly (54.11) to lead the Cougars.

Gannon Schwalm added a win in the 200 back (2:02.3).

Misericordia is 4-1 and will return to action in two weeks at the Cougar Splash Invitational at Dallas Middle School.

Coach Taylor's Thoughts
"Heading into this meet had been our toughest weeks of training. Normally this presents a lot of ups and downs in the pool, but the men had a lot to be proud of today. Our distance swimmers put up significant time drops, and the technicals of all our strokes are looking better and better. Our biggest meet of the semester is in two weeks and it will be exciting to see what we do with a little bit of rest."
