MU Field Hockey Falls in MAC Freedom Title Game

The Misericordia University field hockey team fell to Stevens, 3-0, in the MAC Freedom Championship game, Saturday afternoon.

After a scoreless first period, the Ducks took a 1-0 lead midway through the second quarter.

Stevens scored twice in a four-minute span early in the third quarter to extend the lead to 3-0.

Sarah Bogina made three saves in goal.6-4.

Celeste Hoffman had MU's lone shot on a penalty corner in the fourth quarter.

Misericordia fell to 16-4.
