Madison Hedglin and
Tori Ellex have been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Female Athletes of the Month for November while
Ryan Weber and
Michael Williams shared the male honor.

Hedglin, a first-year member of the cross country team, opened the month by winning the individual MAC championship and went on to finish fourth at the NCAA Regional meet.
Â
She closed the month by earning All-America status with a 19
th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
Â
Ellex, a sophomore swimmer, won five events and was part of five school records at the Cougar Splash Invitational.
Â
She won the 50 free while setting a school record and hitting a NCAA "B" but at 23.50. She won the 100 free with another school record and was part of record-setting wins in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 medley relay.

She added two individual wins in a tri-meet sweep over Lycoming and Hood and in a dual meet at Scranton.

Weber, a junior, earned first-team All-MAC status with a sixth-place finish at the MAC Cross Country Championships.
Â
He finished 15
th to earn all-region honors and competed at the NCAA Championships.
Â
Williams, a sophomore wrestler, was 14-3 at 149 pounds. He won his weight class at the Lycoming tournament and finished third at Ursinus while finishing second at the Wilkes Invitational and the Cougar Classic.
