The Misericordia University men's volleyball team swept at tri-match with Marymount and Hood, Saturday.

The Cougars defeated the hosts Blazers, 3-0, and downed Marymount, 3-1, to extend their win streak to six games.

Isaac Drake had nine kills and
Logan Romeika had four aces as MU took the opener, 25-23, 25-16, 25-20.

Tyler Knoop had three blocks and
Peter Breski had 27 assists.

Jared Piontkowski led the Cougars with 22 kills and four blocks against Marymount. The Cougars took the first two sets, 25-17, 25-20 before Marymount stayed alive with a 25-22 win. Misericordia won 26-24 to clinch the win.

Anthony DePalma had 15 kills and three aces and
Matt Albrecht had three aces.

Gannon DeFrain had 44 assists and
Benjamin Clendening and
Joe Kozak had four blocks each.

DePalma and Piontkowski had back-to-back kills to give the Cougars a 24-22 lead in the finale.

After Marymount tied it, Piontkowski had a kill and teamed with Clendening for a block for the game-winner.
