The Misericordia University women's track & field team is in seventh place after the opening day of the MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, Friday at Alvernia.

MU's Grace Morningstar, Emily Krevey, Madison Kammer and Bri Wagner (12:23.68) won the 4000m DMR while Grace Gallagher (17:51.97) finished third at 5000m.

Mary Grasso, Krevey, Cara Doyle and Gianna Iglesias finished seventh in the 4x200 relay (1:50.28).

Iglesias advanced to the finals at 60m and Doyle advanced to the 60m hurdles finals.
