Richard Billings and Owen McGuffey captured individual titles to lead the Misericordia University men's track & field team to a fourth place finish at the MAC Indoor Championships, Saturday at Alvernia.

The Cougars added a win in the 4x400 relay.

Billings was named Male Track Athlete of the Year after winning at 200m, finishing second at 60m and running the lead leg of the winning 4x400 relay.

Billings (22.11) won at 200m and set a school record for the second straight day while finishing second at 60m (6.85).

McGuffey set a school record (8.27) to win the 60m hurdles and anchored the team of Billings, Jacob Hunter and Joseph Vacchio to win the 4x400 (3:24.73).

Matthieu Brunelle was third in the triple jump (14.07m) while Hunter was fourth at 400m (50.42) and sixth at 200m.

Iverson Hill was fourth in the high jump (1.89m) while Trey Rhinehart was fifth in the mile (4:23.06) and 3000m (8:44.54).
