The Misericordia University women's track & field team opened the outdoor season at the Washington & Lee Carnival, Friday in Lexington, VA.

Matthieu Brunelle (6.94m) won the long jump and Owen McGuffey, Richard Billings, Harrison Follett and Jacob Hunter (3:19.65) won the 4x400m relay.

Stephen Gihr (46.16m) was third in the hammer throw and Tavian McKenna (33:25.72) placed fifth at 10,000m.

Ryan Weber (15:22.08) and Jorden Pernell (1.74m) were eighth at 1500m and in the high jump, respectively.
