The Misericordia University men's track & field team is in seventh place after the opening day of the AARTFC Championships, Friday at Ithaca.

Matthieu Brunelle set a school record (7.13m) to finish second in the long jump.

Stephen Rowley (15:07.45) was sixth at 5000m.

Richard Billings advanced to the finals at 60m.
