The Misericordia University STUNT team ended the regular season undefeated against D-III opponents after finishing 2-1 at the Warrior Invitational, Saturday at East Stroudsburg.

 

The Cougars earned shutout wins over Gallaudet and Randolph, but lost to East Stroudsburg, 14-11.

 

Kaitlyn Shatzel, Olivia Olley, Isabella Davis and Zoey Jones led the Cougars in the first two quarters throughout the day while tumblers Elana Supanek, Rachel Kowal and Angelena Montefour excelled in the third quarter.

 

Montefour, Caleigh Brown, Anna Mellody and Audry Weiss were impact players for MU.

 

Brown, Mellody, Shatzel and Emily Kaiser competed in more than 200 rounds throughout the regular season.

 

The Cougars will travel to the STUNT National Championship in Nashville, TN later this month.
