The next honoree in the Misericordia Top 100 Student-Athletes of the Century countdown is #9 Amy (Viti) Nelson.

She was a four-year letter-winner in cross country and track & field.

She was a three-time All-MAC finisher in cross country, including two first-team honors.

She was the Misericordia Wendy's Athlete of the Year as a senior and was a national finalist in the NCAA Woman of the Year voting.

She was a five-time NCAA Championships qualifier and was a three-time All-American.

She finished fifth at 800m as a junior and was the NCAA indoor runner-up as a junior.  She finished third in the nation at 800m as a senior.

She won five MAC indoor titles including three at 400m and two at 800m.

Viti was the MAC Rookie of the Year in her debut outdoor season and was the MAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year as a senior.

She was four-time MAC champion at 400m during the outdoor season and was a two-time MAC champion at 800m.

She holds school indoor records at 400m, 800m and 1000m and owns school outdoor records at 400m and 800m.

She is part of two MAC indoor relay records and one outdoor relay record.
